Example of Müllerian mimicry: toxic (as sequestering the phenols) the black-and-yellow lichen moth Lycomorpha pholus and toxic as well (as sequestering, among others, pyrazines) the reticulated net-winged beetle Calopteron reticulatum (also shown in this collection) evolved resemblance in colour and spot pattern on wings, jointly making stronger warning to predators that avoid them as inedible.
