Lateral view. In the middle and posterior parts of the pharyngeal section there is a dense "brush" of stiff and curved cilia, which are modified locomotory cilia. Their current function is unknown.

The species is close to Lepidodermella spinifera Tretjakova, 1991. It differs from it in the transformation of the locomotory cilia of the pharyngeal section into a stiff "brush", the presence of long ventrolateral spines and a single (instead of 2-3) notch on the scale lateral edges.
